Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC) is an agro-industrial complex located in Victorias City, Negros Occidental. It was founded on May 7, 1919, on a 600-hectare ground having a sugar mill with an original capacity of 1,500 tons. To date, it has evolved into one of the largest integrated raw and refined sugar operations in the world. VMC is one of the biggest suppliers of refined sugar in the Philippines and supplies about 30% of the county’s daily need for refined sugar.

At present, VMC produces its own power using four (4) biomass steam turbine power generating units, with a total capacity of 34MW. Likewise, it has eight (8) units of boilers that supply steam to these four turbine generators. As of September 24, 2014, VMC entered into a Biomass Renewable Energy Operating Contract with the Department of Energy, wherein 31MW will be utilized by VMC and 3MW will be exported to the grid.
